ASTC is committed to environmentally sound practices.
ASTC recycles wood waste thru the use of grinders and collection for post-recycle use, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills.
ASTC has continually made strides in reducing VOC emissions in the finishing department. We successfully meet or exceed SCAQMD guidelines.
ASTC has long been involved in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in efforts to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
ASTC is a member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute and supports, with AWI, the goals of sustainable management and renewability for the world’s forests, as well as endorsing the various forest certification programs currently evolving.
ASTC is committed to providing sustainable eco-solutions and products to help our clients achieve LEED credits. ASTC will work with your LEED Accredited Professional to help you achieve your goal for Green Building Certification.
